The intention behind Kucoins trading password is to add an additional layer of security. The trading password is six digit password that is needed when taking actions such as trading, withdrawing or creating APIs.
The trading password should not be confused with the two factor authentication code (2FA) that you may have added.
No worries if you forgot trading password on Kucoin, you can simply reset it if you go to security settings -> trading password -> and click change.
If you have never set your Kucoin trading password, simply click on the circle in the top right corner and then click on Account Security. Then go to Trading Password and click Set.
