How to withdraw money from Kucoin?
On Kucoin you can withdraw both cryptocurrencies and fiat currencies such as USD, EUR, GBP etc.
To be able to withdraw fiat currencies like USD, you need to complete Kucoin's identity verification process. Note that withdrawal of fiat currencies is as of now limited to mainly USD, EUR and GBP.
Kucoin SEPA Withdrawal
The only way to withdraw money from Kucoin directly to a bank account is with SEPA-withdrawal. For now, this is only available if you withdraw euros. There is a 5 EUR fee and the funds should arrive within 1-2 business days. For other currencies like USD, the only option as of now is through Advcash.
If you are looking for cheaper withdrawal fees with more options, we recommen using Kraken. Kraken is a secure and US regulated exchange with more than 10 years in the market.
Kucoin fiat withdrawal
While fiat currency withdrawal is still not available for many countries, you can withdraw currencies such as USD, EUR and GBP if you have passed the KYC verification.
USD/GBP: Advcash, 1 working days & 2% Fee
EUR: Sepa transfer, 1-2 working days & 5 EUR Fee
Kucoin Fiat Withdrawal
How long does Kucoin take to withdraw?
That depends on what you are withdrawing. If you withdraw cryptocurrencies like BTC, ETH, SOL, etc, then the withdrawal period depends to a large extent on how long it takes for the underlying blockchain to settle transactions. Solana for example settles transactions much faster than Ethereum or Bitcoin.
If you are withdrawing fiat currencies like USD, EUR, GBP etc, then it depends on the currency and withdrawal process.
For example, SEPA withdrawal can take up to 1-2 working days while USD withdrawal with Advcash can take 1 working days.
Cheapest way to withdraw from Kucoin
That depends if you want to withdraw cryptocurrencies like BTC and ETH or fiat currencies like USD and EUR.
If you want the cheapest withdrawal fees for cryptocurrencies, then you have to use fast and cheap blockchains like Solana (SOL) or Cosmos (ATOM). These are both the quickest and cheapest ways to withdraw cryptocurrencies.
The cheapest way to withdraw fiat currencies on Kucoin is through Advcash. This could of course change in the future as Kucoin adds supports for more fiat currency withdrawal options.
